Terms of Use

FunOfficePools.com and the FunOfficePools app (together, “FunOfficePools”) are operated by Spinning Plates, LLC. By creating an account or using FunOfficePools, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use FunOfficePools.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Your display name is shown to the other members of your pools. Don’t use a name that is offensive or that impersonates someone else.

Pool Talk (chat), display names and anything else you post are for your pool’s members. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post anything that is:

• abusive, harassing, threatening or hateful;
• sexually explicit, obscene or otherwise objectionable;
• spam or advertising, or an attempt to impersonate someone; or
• illegal, or someone else’s private information.

Any member can report a post or block another member. In the app, tap ••• on a post. We review every report within 24 hours. We remove posts that break these rules and suspend or ban the accounts responsible. Serious or repeated violations mean a permanent ban. Pool commissioners can also remove posts in their own pools.

You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to store and display it to the members of your pool so that Pool Talk works.

FunOfficePools is a free entertainment site, not a gambling service. We don’t hold, collect or pay out money for any pool. Any money that pool members exchange is entirely between them and their commissioner. FunOfficePools is not a party to it, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live.

Premium memberships bought in the app are billed and renewed by Apple or Google. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and their terms apply to those purchases. A Premium membership removes ads and turns on the features described where you buy it. We may add, change or remove Premium features over time.

Premium on the website. Premium bought on FunOfficePools.com is a donation made through Venmo or PayPal, whose own terms also apply. It turns on the Premium features described on the Upgrade page for the period shown there, and it does not renew on its own. If you donated by mistake (for example, thinking you were paying your pool’s dues), contact us and we will refund it.

FunOfficePools is provided “as is” and “as available”. Scores, spreads, schedules, standings and picks may be late, wrong or unavailable. Picks may be shown to others earlier than intended, or lost, because of errors or outages. We don’t promise that FunOfficePools will be accurate, secure or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Spinning Plates, LLC and FunOfficePools are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or app, even if we were told such a loss was possible. That includes money won, lost or wagered, lost picks or data, and the outcome of any pool.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For a free account, that amount is $0.

You can delete your account at any time, in the app under Menu → Account Info, or by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we may ask you to agree again. Continued use of FunOfficePools after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
