Yes. Running and playing pools on FunOfficePools is completely free, with unlimited pools.

What pool types can I run?

College football, NFL football (combo, survivor, and squares formats), College Bowl pick-em, CBS Survivor, and The Amazing Race.

What's the difference between Weighted, Fixed, Custom, and Bonus scoring?

Weighted assigns a unique confidence rank (1 to N) to every game. Fixed awards 1 point per correct pick. Custom lets the commissioner set each game's point value. Bonus awards 1-3 points per straight-up pick based on the size of the spread.

Do I have to pick against the spread?

No — most pool types let the commissioner choose straight-up picks (just pick the winner) instead of picking against the spread. Bonus-scoring pools are always straight-up.

How does NFL Survivor scoring work?

Each week, players pick one team to win (or lose, in Pick Losers mode). A wrong pick costs a strike; run out of strikes and you're eliminated. Last player standing wins.

Football Squares Pools

Q: How does Football Squares work?

Players buy squares on a 10x10 grid. At the end of each scoring stage, the last digit of each team's cumulative score picks a row and column on the grid, and whoever owns that square wins the payout.

No picks, no confidence points — just a 10×10 grid and whatever the scoreboard says at the end of a quarter.

How the grid works

Every game is a 10×10 grid — 100 squares total. At the end of each quarter (or half, or just the final score, depending on your settings), the last digit of each team's cumulative score picks a row and a column. Whoever owns the square where they meet wins the payout for that stage. Most pools compare scores four times — 1st quarter, halftime, 3rd quarter, and final — but a commissioner can limit it to halftime and final only.

Running it for a party? A commissioner can add local players and enter picks for the whole room from one screen with Group Picks — nobody needs to log in separately. Great for a live Super Bowl party.
